The Ore Deposits of Utah is the bible of Utah mining history. Covering the entire state, the United States Geological Survey published this in 1920, before any of the late 20th century mineral discoveries were made in Utah. Nevertheless, it is the source for beginning any serious study of Utah's minerals and mining heritage.
